{"id":1365,"date":"2024-06-10T14:18:50","date_gmt":"2024-06-10T13:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecraftingchicken.com\/?page_id=1365"},"modified":"2026-01-05T16:16:34","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T16:16:34","slug":"lesson-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/thecraftingchicken.com\/?page_id=1365","title":{"rendered":"Lesson Info"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation Policy for Pottery Lessons<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notice of Cancellation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>48-Hour Notice:<\/strong> A minimum of 48 hours&#8217; notice is required for all cancellations to qualify for a full refund, so that we can try and find someone to fill your space. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refunds<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Full Refund:<\/strong> If you provide at least 48 hours&#8217; notice, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled lesson\/s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No Refund:<\/strong> Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson will not be eligible for a refund. (For the 6-week course, the first lesson will not be eligible for a refund, however the remaining 5 will be).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rescheduling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You may reschedule your lesson without any additional charge, subject to availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No-Show Policy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No-Show:<\/strong> If you do not show up for your scheduled lesson without prior notice, you will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studio Cancellations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Studio-Initiated Cancellations:<\/strong> In the event that The Crafting Chicken needs to cancel a lesson, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Cancel or Reschedule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Email:<\/strong> Send an email to shannon@thecraftingchicken.com with your booking details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Health &amp; Safety<\/span>!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This policy outlines the measures I take to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants during pottery lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Safety Measures<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Risk Assessment:<\/strong> Regular risk assessments are conducted to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First Aid:<\/strong> A first aid kit is available on-site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emergency Procedures:<\/strong> A fire evacuation plan will be explained at the beginning of your lesson. Emergency exits are clearly marked and accessible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accident Reporting:<\/strong> All accidents, injuries, or near misses must be reported to Shannon and recorded in the accident log.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attire:<\/strong> Students should wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Long hair should be tied back.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supervision:<\/strong> Students must follow my instruction at all times. Use of equipment without supervision is prohibited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studio Hygiene<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cleaning:<\/strong> The studio is cleaned regularly to prevent the build-up of clay and glaze dust.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hand Hygiene:<\/strong> Hand washing facilities with soap and water are available.
